Regardless of your emotions, rejoice over the fact that you have feelings to process through.
Regardless of your budget, sing praises that you have a creative mind and hope that can/will bring forth wisdom for wealth,(remembering that wealth is more than just money).
Regardless of who you have around you to love, who isn't there to love you as you desire or who doesn't love you, recognize and celebrate the love of life that is flowing through your core being and the warm blood that is flowing through your veins fresh and anew right at this very moment.
Regardless of the outlook of the circumstances and situations around you, shout for joy that you are connected to the Supreme, Sovereign One Who loves you beyond measure and Who has absolutely EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL. ("In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever." {Psalm 138:3,8)

This verb occurs five times in the Old Testament. Three times it refers to something or someone being cut off or brought to an end (7:9; 12:1; 77:8). Twice it refers to the completing, finishing, and perfecting of God's work in one's life (57:2; 138:8). These two references are Old Testament parallels to Philippians 1:6.
